Compare it with childhood nowadays- cocooned in air conditioners, playing on mobile phones, living in sterile environment and yet falling sick repeatedly.

One of the main factors is the difference in the snacking habit-
During our childhood munching consisted of eating seasonal fruits- lots of amla, pomegranates, etc. which are natural immunity boosters. We enjoyed peanuts and roasted chana, which happen to promote healthy growth and development. Try and open the fridge to find all mom-made ice-creams, pickles, sauces, jams and syrups!
Now the munching consists of potato wedges, fries, chips, nachos, kurkure and all kinds of packaged foods, which lower our natural immunity. Kids enjoy chocolates daily, which lead to dental caries, recurrent cold, worms, etc. Our fridge consists of aerated drinks, canned foods and more preservative-based stuff.
Therefore, decision is completely ours- TO LET THE KIDS HAVE EVERYTHING AND DEPRIVE THEM OF GOOD HEALTH OR TO HELP THEM FORM HEALTHY EATING HABITS!
